Boulder is an unincorporated community in Sweetwater County, Wyoming, United States, located in the west-central part of the state. It is not an independent city, but exists as a small town with a sparse population of only about 170 as of the 2020 count.
Boulder is located in the High Plains region of Wyoming, at an elevation of about 2,100 meters above sea level, adjacent to U.S. Highway 287, and about 300 kilometers from the state capital, Cheyenne.
