Located in the northwestern part of Guizhou Province, China, Bijie is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Guizhou Province, situated at the junction of Sichuan, Yunnan and Guizhou provinces, and is famous for its rich natural landscape and unique ethnic culture. With a total area of about 26,800 square kilometers and a population of over 6 million, the city has a subtropical monsoon climate with four distinct seasons.
Bijie is home to world-class natural heritages such as the Zhijin Cave and the Baili Azalea Scenic Area, the latter of which is famous for its sea of azaleas that roam the mountains in spring. In addition, the Caohai National Nature Reserve is a habitat for migratory birds, attracting many bird-watching enthusiasts. These attractions make it a popular destination for tourism in Guizhou.
Bijie is a multi-ethnic settlement area, with rich and colorful cultures of the Yi, Miao and other ethnic minorities, and well-preserved traditional festivals and handicrafts. The economy is dominated by agriculture, energy and tourism, and is rich in coal resources and is promoting the development of green energy. In recent years, infrastructure improvements have fueled regional economic growth.
Radža is a quiet town in western North Macedonia, nestled in the southern foothills of the Šar Mountains, about 120 kilometers from the capital, Skopje. The town is known for its well-preserved Ottoman-era architecture and traditional Balkan flavor, with the old town's stone paths, wooden houses and quaint mosques speaking of its long history. Surrounded by dense forests and crystal clear mountain springs, it is an ideal destination for hiking and eco-tourism, especially in summer. The local people still practice handicrafts and traditional folklore, and the annual "Raja Cultural Festival" attracts many visitors to experience the authentic rural life of Northern Macedonia.
