Boiron is a town in the administrative district of Upper Bavaria in the German state of Bavaria, not an independent state. It is located about 50 kilometers south of Munich on the banks of the Isar River in the northern foothills of the Alps and has a population of about 3,500. The town is known for its rich history, its Catholic Benedictine abbey and its natural beauty.
The Abbey of Boiron, founded in the 8th century, is the central landmark of the area and is known for its Baroque architecture and collection of religious art. The town retains its traditional Bavarian houses, hosts annual Christmas markets and other folklore events, and is surrounded by forests and hills, making it ideal for hiking and cycling tours.
The economy is based on tourism, agriculture and small crafts, with easy access to Munich and the Austrian border by road and rail. Boiron embodies the tranquility and cultural heritage of the Bavarian countryside and is an ideal stopover for exploring the German pre-Alpine region.
Jiangdu, a municipal district of Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province, is located in the northern wing of the Yangtze River Delta and the southern end of the Jianghuai Plain, and is known as the "Pearl of the Yangtze River and Huaihe River". As the core area of the main city of Yangzhou, Jiangdu has been a major land and waterway hub since ancient times, where the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, the Yangtze River, the New Tongyang Canal and other waterways converge, giving rise to a profound canal culture. Historically, it was the "land of fish and rice", and in recent times, it has developed a strong industrial base, forming leading industries such as high-end equipment manufacturing, automobile parts, new materials, etc., and its total economic output has been ranked among the top 100 districts in the country for many years in a row. The Jiangdu Water Conservancy Hub Project in the district is an important node at the source of the national South-to-North Water Diversion East Route, which has multiple functions such as flood control, drainage, irrigation and shipping. Nowadays, Jiangdu is aiming at the construction of "strong, rich, beautiful and high" new Jiangdu, integrating ecological endowment and industrial vitality, and becoming a bright pearl in the northern wing of Yangtze River Delta.
