Beidaihe, located in Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province, China, is a famous seaside resort and summer vacation area. Bordering the Bohai Sea, it boasts fine sandy beaches, a mild climate and beautiful natural scenery, and has been a popular vacation choice for Chinese and foreigners since the late 19th century. Its historic buildings, parks and coastline attract a large number of tourists, especially in summer.
Beidaihe is famous for its iconic attractions such as Pigeon's Nest Park, Lianfeng Mountain and Tiger Rock Sea Park. The area also contains several bathing and healing facilities for family trips and leisure activities. In addition, its proximity to Shanhaiguan and other historical and cultural sites in Qinhuangdao makes it easy for visitors to explore heritage sites such as the Great Wall.
Beidaihe is conveniently connected to major cities such as Beijing and Tianjin via high-speed railways and highways. Known for its seafood cuisine and comfortable accommodations, the local area hosts a variety of festivals and events each year to enhance the visitor experience. As an important tourist destination in northern China, it perfectly combines natural and human charms.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
