Baqiao District is located in the eastern part of Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province, and is one of the six districts in the main city of Xi'an, named after the famous "Baqiao" ancient building from the Sui and Tang dynasties. With an area of 332 square kilometers and a population of about 600,000, Baqiao District is the "eastern gate" and transportation hub of Xi'an, with the Lianhuo Expressway, the Longhai Railway, and other important arteries running through the district.
The area is rich in history, with national cultural relics such as the Half Slope Ruins and the Mausoleum of Emperor Ba of the Han Dynasty, and the landscape of Ba Willow with wind and snow is known as one of the Eight Scenes of Guanzhong. In modern development, Baqiao relies on the Xi'an International Port Area and Chanba Ecological Zone to form high-end equipment manufacturing and modern logistics clusters, while building green spaces such as the Left Bank Ecological Park of the Ba River, realizing the ecological development model of integration of industry and city.
As an important node of the "Belt and Road", Baqiao is building a new urban district that combines history and culture, ecological livability, and industrial innovation, and is becoming the eastern growth pole of Xi'an's national center city.
