The White Pagoda of Liaoning, officially known as "Liaoyang White Pagoda", is an ancient landmark located in Liaoyang City, Liaoning Province, not an independent city. The tower was built in the Liao dynasty Qingning eight years (1062), after the Jin, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties repair, the existing pagoda tower for the Liao dynasty original style, about 70 meters high, octagonal thirteen levels, for the dense eaves type brick tower, the tower body layer by layer inward, upright and beautiful. Pagoda body eight sides are equipped with niches, carved inside the sitting Buddha, coercive Bodhisattva, flying statues, exquisite craftsmanship, is a typical representative of the Liao Dynasty Buddhist architecture. As a national key cultural relics protection unit, Liaoyang White Pagoda not only carries the mark of the integration of Khitan and Han culture, but also witnesses the splendor of Liaoyang as a historical city in the northeast region, and is an important physical remains for the study of Liao Dynasty architectural art and religious culture, which attracts many tourists and scholars to visit.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé.
