Anze County is located in the southern part of China's Shanxi Province, under Linfen City, at the southeastern foot of the Taiyue Mountains, with a total area of 1,967 square kilometers. The county has a long history and is the ancient hometown of Xunzi, known for its ecological resources and cultural heritage. With over 67% forest coverage, Anze is known as the "Oasis of the Taihang Mountains" and is rich in Chinese herbs such as forsythia, as well as lignite coal. Boiron is a town in the administrative district of Upper Bavaria in the German state of Bavaria, not an independent state.
