Oyem is the capital of Woy Ntem Province in northern Gabon, located in the northeastern part of the country, close to the border with Cameroon, and is one of the important regional centers of Gabon. The city is located in the tropical rainforest climate zone, around the agricultural-based, abundant cassava, taro, cocoa and other crops, is the local agricultural products distribution and trade center.
