Aimin District is a municipal district of Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province, China, located in the southeastern part of Heilongjiang Province and the northern part of the urban area of Mudanjiang City, situated in the transition zone between the remnants of the Changbai Mountain Range and Zhangguangcailing, and on both sides of the middle reaches of the Mudan River. With a total area of about 790 square kilometers and 6 streets and 2 towns under its jurisdiction, it is one of the political, educational and cultural centers of Mudanjiang City, with a number of colleges and universities such as Mudanjiang Medical College and Heilongjiang Early Childhood Normal Higher and Specialized School, which are rich in educational resources. The town is characterized by a low mountainous and hilly landscape, with a mid-temperate continental monsoon climate, four distinct seasons, and a rich variety of products.
