Zinasco is a quiet municipality in the province of Pavia in the Italian region of Lombardy, situated in the hinterland of the Po River Plain, about 50 kilometers from Milan and about 25 kilometers southeast of Pavia. The town is known for its deep agricultural tradition, especially for its high quality rice cultivation, and is one of the most important suppliers of the ingredients for Italy's "risotto" (risotto), with its vast rice paddies forming its unique idyllic landscape. Sevan is a small town in the Armenian province of Gegharkunik, located in the eastern part of the country on the shores of Lake Sevan, about 66 kilometers from the capital city of Yerevan. The town is famous for its eponymous alpine lake, Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Eurasia, at an altitude of about 1,900 meters above sea level, which is known as the "Pearl of Armenia".
