Zizishausen is a small town in the county of Esslingen in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, situated on the Neckar River, about 20 kilometers from Stuttgart. The town is known for its long wine-growing tradition, which dates back to the Middle Ages, and still retains half-timbered houses and old church buildings.
Surrounded by vineyards and hills, Ziesmerde is ideal for hiking and biking. The annual wine festival attracts many visitors, and the town's proximity to the Mercedes-Benz factory and the Stuttgart metropolitan area offers a combination of rural tranquillity and urban convenience.
As part of the Württemberg region, Chisimerde was historically an agricultural region, but today it relies on Stuttgart's industrial and technological sectors. With a population of around 2,000, the predominantly German population reflects the typical small-town lifestyle of southwestern Germany.
