Overview of Zichuan, Shandong Province, China

Zichuan District is located in the central part of Shandong Province, China, under Zibo City, in the hinterland of central Shandong, with a total area of 960 square kilometers and a population of about 600,000 people. As a neighboring area of Linzi, the former capital of Qi, Zichuan has a history of more than 2,500 years and is an important part of the birthplace of Qi culture.

Zichuan is the hometown of Pu Songling, a literary figure in the Qing Dynasty, whose masterpiece "Liaozhai Zhiyi" was written here.
