Zichuan District is located in the central part of Shandong Province, China, under Zibo City, in the hinterland of central Shandong, with a total area of 960 square kilometers and a population of about 600,000 people. As a neighboring area of Linzi, the former capital of Qi, Zichuan has a history of more than 2,500 years and is an important part of the birthplace of Qi culture.
Zichuan is the hometown of Pu Songling, a literary figure in the Qing Dynasty, whose masterpiece "Liaozhai Zhiyi" was written here. The existing Pu Songling's former residence is a national key cultural relics protection unit and receives more than 300,000 visitors annually. There are also historical relics in the area, such as the ruins of the Qi Great Wall and the ancient porcelain kiln site in Magucun.
As a national important building materials production base, Zichuan built China (Zibo) ceramic industry headquarters base, ceramic annual output value of more than 20 billion yuan. Meanwhile, it develops equipment manufacturing, new materials and other industries, with one provincial economic development zone and 87 high-tech enterprises (2022 data).
Zichuan is 80 kilometers away from Jinan Yuanwang Airport, with Jiaoji Railway and Qingyin Expressway passing through the city. In addition to humanistic landscapes, it also has natural landscapes such as Tanxi Mountain Tourist Resort (National AAAA Scenic Spot) and Qishan Scenic Spot, and its annual comprehensive tourism income exceeds 4 billion yuan.
Ruby is a small incorporated town in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana, United States, located about 60 miles northeast of the state capital of Baton Rouge and adjacent to the Mississippi border, and characterized by a quiet rural atmosphere and a deep community culture. Sparsely populated, with fewer than 500 people according to the most recent census, the town dates back to the late 1800s and, with its early rise to an agricultural economy (e.g., cotton and soybean farming), still retains the rustic look of a traditional Southern town. The town's landmarks include a century-old community church and several Victorian-style homes, and the annual fall "Ruby Family Day," which blends elements of local Cajun and Creole culture, has become a shared memory for the surrounding residents. Despite its small size, Ruby epitomizes the serenity of the American countryside with its simple folk and distinctive Louisiana southern flavor.
