Jhutian Township is located in the center of Pingtung County, Taiwan, on the south bank of Gaoping River, which is a typical Hakka settlement, known as the "Township of Ancient Alterations". During the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty, the Hakka people came here to cultivate the land, preserving the strong Hakka culture and traditional settlement pattern. Centuries-old buildings such as the Zhang Family Ancient House and the Lin Family Ancient House in the area bear witness to the wisdom of the ancestors in life and the art of architecture. The idyllic scenery here is divided into four distinct seasons, with the sea of rapeseed flowers in spring and the waves of rice in fall intertwined to form a natural picture scroll, while the Gaoping Creek Riverside Park is a good place for leisure and bird watching. The Jutian Lantern Festival, held every year during the Lantern Festival, combines traditional Hakka customs with modern art and attracts many visitors. In addition, Jutian's agricultural products, such as lotus fog and pineapples, are of high quality, making it a must-visit place for experiencing Hakka culture and idyllic life.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
