Zhongyang County is located in the western part of Shanxi Province, China, in the middle part of the Lvliang Mountain Range, and is part of Lvliang City. It has a total area of 1,441 square kilometers and a population of about 150,000 people. It has a temperate continental climate with four distinct seasons and rich mineral resources, especially coal. Its history can be traced back to the Spring and Autumn Period, and it is one of the birthplaces of Jin culture. The traditional industries are mainly coal, coking and metallurgy, and modern agriculture and tourism have been actively developed in recent years. Famous scenic spots include Paewa Mountain, Xianming Cave and other natural and humanistic landscapes. Zhongyang paper-cutting has been listed in the national intangible cultural heritage, highlighting the unique folk culture. The transportation is convenient, with the Qingyin Expressway and National Highway 307 passing through the city, and about 50 kilometers away from Lvliang Airport.
Diffa, the capital of the Diffa region in southeastern Niger, is located on the southern edge of the Sahara Desert and shares a border with Nigeria, making it one of the most important border cities in Niger. The city is located in the lower Niger River basin around the climate of the tropical desert climate, hot and dry throughout the year, the average annual precipitation is less than 300 millimeters. The economy is based on agriculture and animal husbandry, and the surrounding areas are rich in millet, sorghum and livestock. Diffa, as a regional trade center, undertakes the function of cross-border trade with neighboring countries, such as Nigeria, and is especially famous for the trade of livestock, agricultural products and handicrafts.
