Located in the central part of China's Henan Province, Zhongmou County is part of the provincial capital Zhengzhou City and is situated on the south bank of the lower reaches of the Yellow River, making it an important node in the Central Plains Economic Zone. It has a total area of about 917 square kilometers and a population of about 800,000 people. With a long history dating back to the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, Zhongmou was the site of the famous ancient battle of Guandu, and boasts a rich cultural heritage, such as the ruins of the Guandu Ancient Battlefield and the Twin Pagodas of Shousheng Temple.
Zhongmou's economy is based on modern agriculture, automobile manufacturing and tourism, and it is an important grain production base in Henan Province and an automobile industry cluster in Zhengzhou. In recent years, relying on the Zhengzhou International Cultural and Creative Industry Park, it has vigorously developed emerging industries such as film and television, culture and tourism, and attracted major projects such as the Fantasia Theme Park, which has promoted the diversification of the regional economy.
Zhongmou is in a superior location, close to Zhengzhou Metropolitan Area, with convenient transportation. The Longhai Railway, Zhengkai Avenue and Lianhuo Expressway run through the whole area, and it is only a 30-minute drive from Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport. This makes it a key hub connecting to the Central Plains city cluster and promotes the prosperity of logistics and commerce.
Zhongmou is rich in tourism resources, including the Guandu Ancient Battlefield Cultural Scenic Area, Yanming Lake Ecological Scenic Area and Modern Agricultural Demonstration Park. The locality is famous for specialties such as watermelon and garlic, and organizes related festivals every year. Culturally, it blends traditional and modernized elements of the Central Plains, making it an ideal destination for experiencing the countryside and history of Henan.
Sevan is a small town in the Armenian province of Gegharkunik, located in the eastern part of the country on the shores of Lake Sevan, about 66 kilometers from the capital city of Yerevan. The town is famous for its eponymous alpine lake, Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Eurasia, at an altitude of about 1,900 meters above sea level, which is known as the "Pearl of Armenia".
Lake Sevan is surrounded by magnificent landscapes and crystal clear waters, making it an important tourist and recreational destination in Armenia. With a population of around 20,000, the town of Sevan retains its traditional Armenian culture, while the infrastructure is constantly being improved to provide accommodation and catering services.
