Steixiang District is a municipal district under the jurisdiction of Hengyang City, Hunan Province. It is located in the south of Hengyang City, in the hinterland of Xiangzhong Basin, where the Xiangzhong Corridor meets the south of Hunan, with a total area of about 111 square kilometers. As an important part of the central urban area of Hengyang City, the district is named after the confluence of two rivers, the Steam Water and the Xiangjiang River. It has a significant location advantage and is the transportation hub connecting the east and west of Hunan.
