Liaoning Zhen'an, known as Zhen'an District of Dandong City, is a municipal district under the jurisdiction of Dandong City, Liaoning Province, China, located in the eastern part of Liaodong Peninsula, on the south bank of the lower reaches of the Yalu River, across the river from North Korea, and an important border gateway connecting China and Northeast Asia. With a total area of 664 square kilometers, the terrain is predominantly low-mountainous and hilly, with a pleasant climate, and the Yalu River Mouth Wetland National Nature Reserve is located here, making it rich in ecological resources. As one of the core urban areas of Dandong City, Zhen'an District integrates border trade, modern agriculture and tourism, and is rich in seafood, apples and other specialties. Red tourism resources, such as the Memorial Hall of the Anti-U.S.-Aid to North Korea and the Yalujiang River Broken Bridge, and natural landscapes reflect each other, making Zhen'an a new border development area with both historical heritage and modern vitality.
