Zhaozhou County is located in the southwestern part of Heilongjiang Province, China, under Daqing City, in the hinterland of Songnen Plain. The county has a long history, having been founded in 1913, and is an important agricultural production area and energy base in Heilongjiang Province. Zhaozhou is known for its grain production such as corn and soybeans, as well as its oil and natural gas resources, and its economy is based on agriculture and the energy industry.
Zhaozhou has a temperate continental monsoon climate with four distinct seasons and a natural landscape dominated by plains and wetlands. Zhaozhou focuses on cultural and educational development, with a number of primary and secondary schools and vocational training institutions. Transportation is convenient, with major cities in Heilongjiang Province connected through a network of roads and railroads. In recent years, Zhaozhou has actively promoted rural revitalization and industrial upgrading, combining traditional agriculture with modern technology to promote sustainable regional economic development.
Sevan is a small town in the Armenian province of Gegharkunik, located in the eastern part of the country on the shores of Lake Sevan, about 66 kilometers from the capital city of Yerevan. The town is famous for its eponymous alpine lake, Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Eurasia, at an altitude of about 1,900 meters above sea level, which is known as the "Pearl of Armenia".
Lake Sevan is surrounded by magnificent landscapes and crystal clear waters, making it an important tourist and recreational destination in Armenia. The town boasts historical monuments such as the Sevan Monastery, a 9th-century monastery situated on a peninsula overlooking the lake, which attracts many tourists and pilgrims.
