Zhan Yi District, belonging to Qujing City, Yunnan Province, China, is located in the eastern part of Yunnan Province, and is the origin of the Pearl River, known as "the first county at the source of the Pearl River". With a total area of 2,910 square kilometers and a population of about 400,000, the district is located on the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, with an average altitude of about 2,000 meters and a mild and humid climate.
Zhan Yi is rich in natural and humanistic landscapes, with core attractions including the Pearl River Source Scenic Area, the Haifeng Wetland Nature Reserve, and a cluster of tiankengs.
