Zhabei District is one of the central districts of Shanghai, which merged with Jing'an District in 2015 to form the new Jing'an District. The area is located in the northern part of Shanghai's center, bordering Hongkou District in the east, Putuo District in the west, Suzhou Creek in the south and Baoshan District in the north. As an important transportation hub in Shanghai, the area covers the Shanghai Railway Station, the long-distance bus station and several metro lines (lines 1, 3, 4, 8 and 12).
Zhabei has historically been an important industrial area in the Chinese community, with many national enterprises. In recent years, it has developed into a modern urban area through old city renovation and urban renewal. The Daning International Commercial Plaza and the Shibei Hi-Tech Service Park have become new landmarks in the area. The landscape zone along Suzhou Creek and numerous cultural facilities reflect the integration of humanities and nature.
Zhabei District combines historical heritage and modern vitality, with a comprehensive transportation network and commercial support. It is rich in educational resources, has a full range of medical facilities and a high degree of convenience. The merged New Jing'an District further enhances the development capacity of the area and becomes an important part of the core urban area of Shanghai.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
