Located in the southwestern part of Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, and at the junction of Jin, Hebei and Mongolia, Weixian County is known as "the first state in the western part of Beijing". This thousand-year-old city was built in the Northern Wei Dynasty, the existing ancient city walls of Weizhou, Zhenwu Temple, Jade Emperor Pavilion and other monuments, showing the style of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Among them, Nuanquan Ancient Town's Xigubao Castle is known as the "Museum of Ancient Castles in Northern China", and the playing of tree flowers (an ancient folk custom of melting iron and splashing it into flowers) has been included in the list of national non-heritages. In addition, the paper-cutting of Weixian County is famous for its combination of yin and yang carving and rich colors, and is regarded as the "hometown of paper-cutting art". There are also natural landscapes such as the Sky Grassland and the Little Wutai Mountain, which combine history, folklore and ecological beauty, making it a unique destination for experiencing the flavors of northern Hebei.
Deva is the capital of Hunedoara County in western Romania, located on the banks of the river Mureş, with a population of about 60,000 people.
