Yutian County is located in Tangshan City, Hebei Province, China, in the northeastern part of the North China Plain and the southern foot of Yanshan Mountain, with a total area of about 1,170 square kilometers. As an important node of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei synergistic development, Yutian is known as the "Vegetable Hometown in the North" and "Equipment Manufacturing Base", with agriculture and industry as its economic pillars.
Yutian County has a long history, named after the ancient legend of "Yang Boyong Wufengshan Jade Planting", and has the title of a thousand-year-old county. There are cultural heritages such as Jingjue Temple and Caiting Bridge in Yutian, and traditional clay sculptures and paper-cutting techniques are listed as intangible cultural heritages. Yutian cabbage, jujube and other agricultural specialties are famous throughout the country.
Yutian is in close proximity to Beijing and Tianjin, with the Beijing-Harbin Expressway and the Beijing-Qin Railway running through the whole city, and a well-developed transportation network. Modern industries are mainly machinery manufacturing and food processing, while modern agriculture and tourism are actively developed, forming a development pattern of industry-city integration.
Ruby is a small incorporated town in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana, United States, located about 60 miles northeast of the state capital of Baton Rouge and adjacent to the Mississippi border, and characterized by a quiet rural atmosphere and a deep community culture. Sparsely populated, with fewer than 500 people according to the most recent census, the town dates back to the late 1800s and, with its early rise to an agricultural economy (e.g., cotton and soybean farming), still retains the rustic look of a traditional Southern town. The town's landmarks include a century-old community church and several Victorian-style homes, and the annual fall "Ruby Family Day," which blends elements of local Cajun and Creole culture, has become a shared memory for the surrounding residents. Despite its small size, Ruby epitomizes the serenity of the American countryside with its simple folk and distinctive Louisiana southern flavor.
