Located in the southeast of Zunyi City, Guizhou Province, Yuqing County is situated in the hinterland of Qianzhong and the middle and lower reaches of the Wujiang River, and is an important node connecting Qianzhong and northern Guizhou. Here, the ecological environment is excellent, with forest coverage of over 60%, the Wujiang River passes through the territory, forming a "Wujiang River Gallery"-like natural landscape, and attractions such as Flying Dragon Lake and Tashan Forest Park have both the beauty of the landscape and the charm of humanities. As the "hometown of Chinese small-leaf bittersweet tea", Yuqing small-leaf bittersweet tea is a national geographic indications product, known for its "beautiful shape, strong flavor, sweetness", leading to the development of specialty agriculture. The local area integrates the cultures of Miao and Buyei ethnic minorities, and retains folk festivals such as the Miao Flower Mountain Stomping and the Buyei March 3, as well as traditional handicrafts such as the Yuqing Dragon Lantern production, which is unique. In recent years, Yuqing has relied on ecological and cultural tourism resources to create the brand of "Recreation and Wellness Yuqing", which has become an emerging destination for ecological sightseeing, cultural experience, and recreation and wellness in Qianzhong region.
