Yulong is the Yulong Naxi Autonomous County under Lijiang City, Yunnan Province, famous for the magnificent Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. As the core area of Naxi culture, it blends natural landscapes with ethnic minority traditions, making it a tourist and ecological hotspot. Strategically located near Lijiang Old Town, it is conveniently located for exploring the flavor of northwestern Yunnan.
Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is the iconic attraction, standing at 5,596 meters above sea level and featuring a glacier park and alpine vegetation that appeals to mountaineering and photography enthusiasts. The region is also home to destinations such as Tiger Leaping Gorge and Baisha Ancient Town, showcasing rich biodiversity and Naxi Dongba culture. Local festivals such as the Sanduo Festival reflect the unique ethnic heritage.
Yulong relies on tourism to drive its economy, offering trekking, skiing and cultural experiences. It has excellent infrastructure and a wide range of accommodation and dining options for all types of travelers. It serves as an important ecological barrier for Yunnan, emphasizing sustainable development and attracting tourists from around the world to explore the beauty of nature and humanity.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
