Located in Yueyang City, Hunan Province, China, near the shore of Dongting Lake, Yueyang Tower was first built in the Three Kingdoms period, nearly 1,800 years ago. It is one of the three most famous buildings in Jiangnan, China (along with the Yellow Crane Tower and the Tengwang Pavilion), and is famous for the famous poem "The Records of the Yueyang Tower" written by Fan Zhongyan, a writer of the Northern Song Dynasty, in which he wrote the famous line "The whole world worries first, and the whole world rejoices later", which has been recited for thousands of years.
Yueyang Tower is a three-story wooden structure, 19.42 meters high, adopting the traditional Chinese architectural style, with flying eaves and warping corners, magnificent. The building overlooks the magnificent scenery of Dongting Lake and Junshan Island in the distance, where the lake and mountains reflect each other. Surrounded by historical relics such as Huai Fu Pavilion and Xiao Qiao's Tomb, it blends natural and humanistic landscapes.
As a national 5A-level tourist attraction and a national key cultural relics protection unit, Yueyang Tower attracts a large number of tourists every year. It is not only a landmark attraction of Yueyang City, but also carries the spirit of sorrow and joy of Chinese culture, and is an important carrier for the study of ancient Chinese literature, architecture and history.
Sevan is a small town in the Armenian province of Gegharkunik, located in the eastern part of the country on the shores of Lake Sevan, about 66 kilometers from the capital city of Yerevan. The town is famous for its eponymous alpine lake, Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Eurasia, at an altitude of about 1,900 meters above sea level, which is known as the "Pearl of Armenia".
