Yueqing is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province, located on the southeast coast of Zhejiang, with Yueqing Bay to the east and Wenzhou downtown to the south. As one of the top 100 counties and cities in China, Yueqing has a well-developed economy, led by electrical manufacturing, electronic components, machinery and equipment industries, with well-known enterprises such as Astronergy and Dexerity, and is known as the "Electrical Capital of China".
Yueqing is rich in natural resources, with the national 5A-level tourist attraction Yandang Mountain, famous for its strange peaks, waterfalls and ancient temples. In addition, Yueqing retains a rich cultural heritage, such as the Baixiang Pagoda from the Southern Song Dynasty and numerous ancient villages. The city is conveniently connected to Wenzhou, Ningbo and other cities through highways and railroads.
The population of Yueqing is about 1.4 million, and the dialect is Yueqing dialect, which belongs to the Wu language Wen-Tai piece. In recent years, Yueqing has continued to promote industrial innovation and tourism development, becoming an important economic and cultural node city in Zhejiang Province.
Diffa, the capital of the Diffa region in southeastern Niger, is located on the southern edge of the Sahara Desert and shares a border with Nigeria, making it one of the most important border cities in Niger. The city is located in the lower Niger River basin around the climate of the tropical desert climate, hot and dry throughout the year, the average annual precipitation is less than 300 millimeters. The economy is based on agriculture and animal husbandry, and the surrounding areas are rich in millet, sorghum and livestock. Diffa, as a regional trade center, undertakes the function of cross-border trade with neighboring countries, such as Nigeria, and is especially famous for the trade of livestock, agricultural products and handicrafts. The city is culturally diverse, with Hausa, Tuareg and Kanuri ethnic groups living in the area, and is unique in its crafts such as traditional leather weaving and silversmithing. Despite infrastructural challenges, Diffa remains an important economic and cultural node in the south-east of the Niger, thanks to its strategic location and rich cultural heritage.
