Yuanjiang City, a county-level city under the administration of Yiyang City in Hunan Province, is located in the hinterland of Dongting Lake, and is famous as the "Hometown of Rice and Fish", "Hometown of Asparagus in China", and "Hometown of Chinese Poetry". Diffa, the capital of the Diffa region in southeastern Niger, is located on the southern edge of the Sahara Desert and shares a border with Nigeria, making it one of the most important border cities in Niger.
