Youxi County is located in the center of Fujian Province, China, under Sanming City, is the birthplace of Zhu Xi, the famous rationalist of the Southern Song Dynasty, and is known as the "Pearl of Minzhong" and "Zhu Xi's hometown". The county has a total area of about 3,463 square kilometers, mainly mountainous and hilly terrain, with over 70% forest coverage and excellent ecological environment.
