Yinchuan, the capital of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, is located in the upper reaches of the Yellow River and the eastern foot of Helan Mountain, and has been known as "South of the River on the Seas and the Ancient Capital of Xixia" since ancient times. As a national historical and cultural city, Yinchuan was once the capital of Xixia Dynasty, which has preserved thousand-year-old relics such as the Mausoleum of the Xixia Kings and rock paintings on Helan Mountain; the Yellow River water system has nourished wetland landscapes such as Shahu and Yuhai, forming a unique style of "city in the middle of the lake and lake in the middle of the city". Nowadays, Yinchuan is taking wine industry and new energy industry as new engines, integrating Hui culture and Silk Road style, not only continuing the historical lineage, but also revitalizing the modern vitality, and becoming a charming city with both natural ecology and humanistic heritage in Northwest China.
