Yiling is located in the western part of China's Hubei Province, belonging to the city of Yichang, and is an important administrative district along the Xiling Gorge of the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River. It has a long history, dating back to the establishment of the county in the Qin Dynasty, and was named after "the water to this place is Yiling, the mountain to this place is Lingling", and has been the meeting place of Ba and Chu cultures and a military fortress since ancient times. Ko Kali is the capital of Karen State in Myanmar, located in the southeastern part of the country near the Thai border, and is the political, economic and cultural center of Karen State.
