Yantian District is located in the eastern part of Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province, China, and is an important part of the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone. It is bordered by Dapeng Bay in the east, Luohu District in the west, New Territories of Hong Kong in the south and Longgang District in the north, with a total area of 74.99 square kilometers. Yantian is globally famous for its international container hub port, Yantian Port, which is one of the busiest container ports in the world.
The area is rich in mountain and sea tourism resources, including attractions such as the famous Eastern Overseas Chinese Town, Dameisha Seaside Park and Xiaomeisha Resort. Yantian has a pleasant climate with an average annual temperature of 22°C. It is an important ecological recreation area in Shenzhen.
