Yanjiang is a municipal district under the jurisdiction of Ziyang City, Sichuan Province, China, located in the central part of the Sichuan Basin and the middle reaches of the Tuojiang River. As the political, economic and cultural center of Ziyang City, Yanjiang District has a total area of about 1,632 square kilometers and a population of about 1.1 million. The area has a subtropical monsoon climate with four distinct seasons and well-developed agriculture, producing rice, citrus and other crops.
Yanjiang has a long history and possesses many cultural heritages and natural landscapes, such as the Half Moon Mountain Cliff Statue and the Tuojiang River Scenic Belt.
