Yangxian County is located in the southern part of Shaanxi Province, China, under Hanzhong City, at the southern foot of the Qinling Mountains and the upper reaches of the Han River, and is a county-level administrative region characterized by agriculture and ecotourism. With a total area of about 3,206 square kilometers and a population of about 440,000, Yangxian County has a long history and deep cultural heritage, and was one of the important nodes of the ancient "Silk Road" and "Shu Road".
Yangxian is globally renowned for its Crested Ibis Nature Reserve, known as the "Home of the Crested Ibis", a rare bird that was once on the verge of extinction but has managed to recover its population through conservation measures. In addition, Yangxian County is rich in natural resources, such as the Huayang Ancient Town and Cailun Tomb Shrine, combining humanistic and ecological tourism features.
