Yangqu County is located in the northern part of Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province, China, in the eastern part of the Loess Plateau, and is an important part of the Taiyuan metropolitan area. The county has a long history, founded during the Western Han Dynasty, and boasts over 2,000 years of civilization, known for its agriculture, coal resources and cultural heritage. It is strategically located about 30 kilometers from downtown Taiyuan, with convenient transportation.
Yangqu County has a rich cultural heritage, with historical sites such as the Qinglong Ancient Town and the Buji Temple, as well as the traditional Jin merchant culture.
