The economy is based on agriculture, animal husbandry and tourism, and is rich in specialty products such as matsutake mushrooms. In recent years, with the development of tourism in western Sichuan, Yajiang is becoming an ideal gateway to explore the nature and culture of the Tibetan region.
Contuboel, located in the Bafata region of central Guinea-Bissau, is a typical small inland town in the country, about 150 kilometers from the capital, Bissau. With agriculture as the mainstay of its economy, it produces rice, peanuts and cashew nuts, and most of its residents rely on traditional farming for their livelihoods. Although small, the town retains a unique West African cultural flavor, with simple mud-brick houses contrasting with busy open-air markets, showing the true face of rural life in Guinea-Bissau. As an important hub connecting the neighboring villages, although Kontuboel does not have the bustle of a modern city, it has become a window to the culture of Guinea-Bissau's interior with its tranquil atmosphere and simple folkways.
