Xuzhou is located in the northwestern part of Jiangsu Province, China, and is the center of Huaihai Economic Zone as well as a famous national historical and cultural city. As an important transportation hub in East China, the two main railroad lines of Beijing-Shanghai and Longhai converge here, and Xuzhou is known as the "thoroughfare of five provinces".
Xuzhou has a history of civilization of more than 6,000 years and a history of founding a city of more than 2,600 years, and is the birthplace of Pengzu culture and the two Han cultures. There are many historical relics in Xuzhou, such as Xuzhou Han Cultural Scenic Spot and Turtle Mountain Han Tomb, and the excavated Han Dynasty Terracotta Warriors and Horses are regarded as "treasures of Han Dynasty art".
Xuzhou is an important construction machinery production base in China, and XCMG ranks at the forefront of the global construction machinery industry. Xuzhou is also actively developing new industries such as new energy and integrated circuits, and its economy is one of the largest in Jiangsu Province.
Xuzhou combines mountains, water and city, with natural landscapes such as Yunlong Lake Scenic Area and Pengzu Garden. Local specialties, such as Xuzhou Ground Chicken and Pac Man Soup, are popular among tourists, showing the unique charm of food culture.
Sevan is a small town in the Armenian province of Gegharkunik, located in the eastern part of the country on the shores of Lake Sevan, about 66 kilometers from the capital city of Yerevan. The town is famous for its eponymous alpine lake, Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Eurasia, at an altitude of about 1,900 meters above sea level, which is known as the "Pearl of Armenia".
Lake Sevan is surrounded by magnificent landscapes and crystal clear waters, making it an important tourist and recreational destination in Armenia. The town boasts historical monuments such as the Sevan Monastery, a 9th-century monastery situated on a peninsula overlooking the lake, which attracts many tourists and pilgrims. With a population of around 20,000, the town of Sevan retains its traditional Armenian culture, while the infrastructure is constantly being improved to provide accommodation and catering services. It is an ideal starting point for exploring the nature and history of the Caucasus and is easily accessible for short trips.
