Xixian New District is a state-level new district established in Shaanxi Province, China, located between the built-up areas of Xi'an and Xianyang, and is the core area of Guanzhong Plain Urban Agglomeration and an important pivot point of the Silk Road Economic Belt.Approved by the State Council in 2014, the new district is tasked with innovating the mode of urban development, and creating a highland for opening up to the west. With the development concept of "modern, fashionable, intelligent and green", the new zone focuses on the layout of science and technology innovation, advanced manufacturing, culture and tourism, airside economy and other industries, and has already formed the core carriers such as the Qinchuangyuan Innovation Driving Platform and the Xi'an Xianyang International Airport Airside Economic Zone.
