Gansu Xiongguan Pass, or Jiayuguan Pass, located in Jiayuguan City, Gansu Province, China, is the starting point of the western end of the Great Wall of the Ming Dynasty, and is known as "the most majestic pass in the world". It was built in the fifth year of the Ming Dynasty (1372), with a history of more than 600 years, and is an outstanding representative of ancient Chinese military defense projects. There are also historical buildings such as Guerrilla General's Mansion, Well Pavilion and Wenchang Pavilion, as well as legends such as "Striking the Stone, Swallowing the Sound" and "A Piece of Brick", which add to the cultural charm of the fortress. Nowadays, Jiayuguan Pass has become a world cultural heritage and a national 5A-level tourist attraction, attracting many tourists to feel the weight of history and the magnificent scenery of the northwest.

São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
