Xinyuan County is located in the eastern part of Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, situated at the northern foot of Tianshan Mountain and the eastern end of Ili River Valley, which is known as "Jiangnan outside the plug". With a mild climate and abundant water and grass, it is an important animal husbandry base and tourist attraction in Xinjiang. There are natural wonders such as Narathi Sky Grassland and Kara Bra Scenic Spot in the territory, with green grass and wildflowers in summer, and silver clothes in winter, which are scenic in all seasons. As a multi-ethnic settlement, Kazakhs, Uyghurs and other ethnic cultures are intermingled, with rich folk customs, and the grassland felt houses, gripping goats, girls chasing and other special activities are unique and charming.
