Located in the west-central part of China's Jiangxi Province, Xinyu is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Jiangxi Province and is situated in the Yuan River basin, a tributary of the Gan River. With a long history, Xinyu was established as a county as early as the Three Kingdoms period, and boasts a rich cultural heritage, such as the famous Fairy Lake Scenic Spot, a national scenic spot and tourist attraction.
As an industrial city, Xinyu is famous for its iron and steel industry, and is the home of Xinyu Iron and Steel Group, known as the "Steel City". In recent years, Xinyu has been actively developing new industries such as new energy and electronic information, with sustained economic growth and a high level of urbanization. The city has a beautiful environment, high green coverage, and a gentle pace of life, making it a modern city that is pleasant to live and work in.
Xinyu has convenient transportation with well-developed highway and railroad networks connecting major cities in and outside Jiangxi Province. Sevan is a small town in the Armenian province of Gegharkunik, located in the eastern part of the country on the shores of Lake Sevan, about 66 kilometers from the capital city of Yerevan. The town is famous for its eponymous alpine lake, Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Eurasia, at an altitude of about 1,900 meters above sea level, which is known as the "Pearl of Armenia".
Lake Sevan is surrounded by magnificent landscapes and crystal clear waters, making it an important tourist and recreational destination in Armenia. The town boasts historical monuments such as the Sevan Monastery, a 9th-century monastery situated on a peninsula overlooking the lake, which attracts many tourists and pilgrims.
