Xinrong District is part of Datong City, Shanxi Province, China, and is located in the northernmost part of Shanxi Province at the junction of Jin, Hebei and Mongolia provinces and districts, covering a total area of about 1,068 square kilometers. The district has a long history and is a zone where the culture of the Central Plains meets the nomadic culture of the north. The ruins of the Ming Great Wall and the cultural relics of the Northern Wei Dynasty exist in the district, such as the famous Desheng Fortress Complex, which testifies to the importance of the ancient border fortresses for military purposes and trade.
Xinrong District terrain is mainly hilly and mountainous, belonging to the temperate continental climate, agriculture is characterized by mixed grain cultivation and animal husbandry. In recent years, tourism has been developed based on ecological resources, such as the Red Rock Cliff Scenic Area and other natural landscapes. The economy is based on energy and agriculture, and is gradually promoting the cultural tourism industry. The transportation is convenient, connecting Datong city and neighboring provinces, making it an important node for regional development.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
