Located in the southeast of Pingtung County, Taiwan, Xinpi Township is bordered by the Pacific Ocean in the east, Linbian Township in the west, Fangliao Township in the south, and Nanzhou Township in the north, with a total area of about 48 square kilometers. The name "Xin Bei" originates from the Xin Bei Canal dug by early immigrants from southern Fujian Province, which is convenient for irrigation and well-developed in agriculture, and produces tropical fruits such as lotus seed, pineapple, and so on, and is known as the "Fruit Township". There are attractions such as Xinpi Beach and Dapeng Bay National Scenic Area, combining natural ecology and humanistic flavor. The local Hakka culture is strong, and traditional temples such as Xin Bei Zhong Yuan Tang and Guang Ji Gong have preserved rich folk art. Based on agriculture and combined with coastal tourism, Xinpi Township demonstrates the simplicity and vitality of townships in southern Taiwan.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
