Xinmin City is a county-level city under the administration of Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, located in the central and western part of Liaoning Province and the northwestern part of Shenyang City, situated in the hinterland of the Liaohe Plain, adjacent to the main city of Shenyang in the south, and about 90 kilometers away from the Taoxian International Airport, which is conveniently located. As an important node city of Shenyang metropolitan circle, Xinmin has a long history, Xinmin Hall was set up in the early Qing Dynasty, Xinmin County was changed in 1913, and the county was abolished and established as a city in 1993. The city is an important "vegetable basket" base in Shenyang, with grain, fruit and vegetable cultivation as the main agricultural industry; the industry covers machinery manufacturing, agricultural products processing and other fields. The ecological corridor of Puhe River, Liao Bin Tower and other landscapes within the territory of both natural and cultural characteristics, is a good place for leisure and tourism. In recent years, relying on the location advantages, Xinmin actively integrated into the development of Shenyang Economic Zone, urban construction and industrial upgrading synchronization, livable and workable new city style is increasingly visible.
