Located in the central part of Henan Province, southwest of Zhengzhou City, Xinmi City is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Henan Province and administered by Zhengzhou City, situated in the transition zone between the remaining veins of the Fuyushan Mountains and the central Yu plains, with a total area of about 1001 square kilometers. As the hometown of the Yellow Emperor, Xinmi has a long history and was known as Mixian County in ancient times.
