Xinghai County is located in the southeast of Qinghai Province, belonging to Hainan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, located in the hinterland of Sanjiangyuan, the upper reaches of the Yellow River, with an average altitude of more than 3,200 meters, is an important node of the ecological barrier of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. The Yellow River meanders through the territory, giving birth to the vast Heka Grassland, Saizong Mountain and other natural landscapes, of which Saizong Monastery is an important monastery of the Gelug School of Tibetan Buddhism, with a profound religious culture. The place is dominated by Tibetans, retaining the traditional nomadic culture and folk customs, the grassland flowers and snowy mountains in summer, and silver in winter, showing the magnificent beauty of the plateau. As a treasure of ecotourism and folklore experience, Xinghai, with its pure natural environment and unique ethnic charms, has become a window to explore the blend of humanity and nature in southeast Qinghai.
Ruby is a small incorporated town in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana, United States, located about 60 miles northeast of the state capital of Baton Rouge and adjacent to the Mississippi border, and characterized by a quiet rural atmosphere and a deep community culture. Sparsely populated, with fewer than 500 people according to the most recent census, the town dates back to the late 1800s and, with its early rise to an agricultural economy (e.g., cotton and soybean farming), still retains the rustic look of a traditional Southern town. The town's landmarks include a century-old community church and several Victorian-style homes, and the annual fall "Ruby Family Day," which blends elements of local Cajun and Creole culture, has become a shared memory for the surrounding residents. Despite its small size, Ruby epitomizes the serenity of the American countryside with its simple folk and distinctive Louisiana southern flavor.
