Xingguo County is located in the south of Jiangxi Province, China, under Ganzhou City, and is a famous old revolutionary area and core county of the Soviet Union. It has a total area of 3,215 square kilometers and a population of about 800,000 people. It is known as the "Generals County", which has trained 54 founding generals for the Chinese Revolution, including Xiao Hua and Chen Qihan. The landscape is mainly hilly and mountainous, with a subtropical monsoon climate, and the agriculture is rich in rice, navel orange and oil tea.
Xingguo was an important base in the Central Soviet Area during the period, preserving a large number of red sites, such as the General's Garden and Revolutionary Memorial Hall. The local Hakka culture is profound, and Xingguo Mountain Song is listed as a national intangible cultural heritage. With a long tradition of education, it is the hometown of Chinese folk culture and art.
The economy is based on agriculture, minerals and tourism, with rich reserves of rare earth resources. In recent years, it has vigorously developed red tourism and eco-tourism, and is conveniently located near Ganzhou Golden Airport and the Beijing-Kowloon Railway. Xingguo is an ideal destination for exploring red history and Hakka culture.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
