Located in the central part of China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Xilinhot City is the political, economic and cultural center of Xilingol League. Located in a typical grassland zone, this city is famous for its vast Xilingol grasslands, rich natural landscapes and unique Mongolian cultural heritage.
The grassland ecosystem around Xilinhot is well preserved and is an important part of the national grassland nature reserve. With green grass in summer and vast snowy plains in winter, the scenery here varies in all seasons, attracting a large number of eco-tourism and photography enthusiasts.
As an important birthplace of Mongolian culture, Xilinhot retains the traditional Naadam Assembly, yurt dwelling culture and national songs and dances. Attractions such as the Bezi Temple and the Xilingol Museum demonstrate the deep historical heritage, while horseback riding on the grasslands and pastoral experiences are featured tourism programs.
The city takes the animal husbandry and energy industries as its economic pillars, while actively developing the grassland tourism economy. With the Xilinhot Airport and a number of highway arteries connecting to major cities around the city, transportation accessibility continues to improve.
Sevan is a small town in the Armenian province of Gegharkunik, located in the eastern part of the country on the shores of Lake Sevan, about 66 kilometers from the capital city of Yerevan. The town is famous for its eponymous alpine lake, Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Eurasia, at an altitude of about 1,900 meters above sea level, which is known as the "Pearl of Armenia".
Lake Sevan is surrounded by magnificent landscapes and crystal clear waters, making it an important tourist and recreational destination in Armenia. The town boasts historical monuments such as the Sevan Monastery, a 9th-century monastery situated on a peninsula overlooking the lake, which attracts many tourists and pilgrims. The local economy is based on fishing, tourism and agriculture, and the climate is cool enough for summer vacations.
With a population of around 20,000, the town of Sevan retains its traditional Armenian culture, while the infrastructure is constantly being improved to provide accommodation and catering services.
