Xihua County is located in the eastern part of Henan Province in China, belonging to Zhoukou City, and is situated in the hinterland of the Yellow Plains, which is an important part of the Central Plains Economic Zone. With a total area of 1,194 square kilometers and a population of about 900,000, Xihua County has a predominantly agricultural economy, producing wheat, corn and other grain crops, and is known as the "Breadbasket of East Henan".
