Xiapu County is located in the northeastern part of Fujian Province, China, under the city of Ningde, on the west coast of the Taiwan Strait, and is an important county-level administrative region along the east coast of Fujian. It is famous for its magnificent mudflat landscape and photography mecca, with a coastline of more than 400 kilometers and the largest mudflat area in the country, which is regarded as "the most beautiful mudflat in China".
